Brief
Sidebar is a community drinkery offering a wide selection of craft beer and cocktails in an inviting and intimate setting. Housed in a historic limestone building originally constructed in 1914, Sidebar features an 18-foot ceiling, a captivating wall mural framed by 10-foot windows, and warm Edison lighting.
Role
As the designer for Sidebar Orlando, my responsibilities included:
Bar Layout Design: Creating an efficient and aesthetic layout for the bar area to optimize customer flow and service.
Colors and Materials Sourcing: Selecting colors and sourcing materials that harmonize with the historic and warm ambiance of the venue.
Mural Design and Painting: Designing and painting a mural that encapsulates the essence and spirit of Orlando, enhancing the venue's unique atmosphere and community appeal.
Results
The design elements contributed to Sidebar Orlando's distinct character, blending historical charm with modern hospitality. The mural specifically added a local touch, celebrating the vibrant culture and spirit of Orlando.
